Taking an online exam can be a daunting task, especially if you are not prepared. To ensure that you have the best chance of success, it is important to take some time to prepare for the exam. Here are seven tips to help you get ready for your online exams:

1. Make sure you have all the necessary materials and equipment needed for the exam.

This includes a reliable computer with a stable internet connection, as well a pen and some paper, if allowed. Additionally, it is important to make sure your computer meets any technical requirements set by the institution administering the exam. For Webassessor, you would need to pre-install Kryterion and complete a biometric profile.

2. Familiarize yourself with the format of the exam and how it will be administered.

Knowing what type of questions will be asked and how they will be presented can help reduce anxiety and increase confidence when taking the test. Additionally, understanding how much time is allotted for each question can help you plan ahead and manage your time effectively during the exam. 3. Create a study plan and stick to it.

Make sure you have enough time to review all the material that will be covered on the exam. Additionally, practice taking sample exams or use online resources such as practice tests to help you become familiar with the format of the exam and the types of questions that may be asked. 4. Make sure you are well-rested before taking your online exam.

Being well-rested can help you stay focused and alert during the exam, which will increase your chances of success.

5. Create a comfortable environment for taking the exam.

Make sure you have a quiet space with minimal distractions and that you are comfortable in your chair. Your desk needs to be clear of anything not strictly allowed for your test and you should have clean background for the setup.

6. Take your time with the exam.

Use your allotted time wisely. Do not rush, but do not dwell on questions for too long. If you are unsure of your answer, mark it for review and come back to it after you have had a try on all the questions. Please note that there are some pre-test checks Webassessor performs, you can usually launch your test portal about 15 minutes before your scheduled exam and complete the necessary steps without worry.

7. Review your answers.

Review the questions marked for review! It might be tempting to just click submit, but it is always important to review your answers. Take a deep breath and take a careful look, especially at questions you have marked for review.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of success when taking an online proctored exam. Good luck!
