But, what is the Platform App Builder (PAB) Certification?
PAB credential is for those who would like to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in designing, building, and deploying custom applications using the Lightning Platform. The individual should be familiar with how to create, manage, and update data models, application security, business logic, and process automation.
What do I need to study?
The PAB is designed for those with about 6 months to 1 year of experience building applications on the Lightning Platform, or a similar development platform. You should be familiar with the capacities of the Lightning Platform, Salesforce license types and related considerations, ability to design applications to support business processes and reporting requirements, familiarity with mobile user experience, familiarity with Salesforce development environments and deployment options, etc.

Exam Breakdown
The test is 60 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions and 5 non-scored questions. It has a maximum allotted time of 105 minutes and a passing score of 63%. This exam is offered proctored onsite or online. There are no prerequisites, but Salesforce Certified Admin is a strong foundation.
